Questionnaires

The Questionnaires module is intended for receiving and appropriate processing of applications, in the form of: evaluation questionnaires, competition entries, scientific papers and abstracts.

The embedded functionalities enable advanced configuring of the questionnaire form and automatic communication between the application and authors of the questionnaires received, and reviewers / moderators that accept questionnaires for evaluating and further processing.

The Questionnaire form settings panel contains a number of functions that enable editing and describing of fields (including translations), dividing them into sections, and sorting.

The thank-you message section enables convenient editing of the sub-page that is displayed directly after sending a questionnaire. The content of the thank-you message edited in the Edition of message content panel usually includes a summary of the questionnaire, in addition to the useful information intended for the person that submits the questionnaire. It is facilitated by the use of tags that refer to certain fields in the form. You can adjust the appearance of the page corresponding to this step, in any way you like, depending on your needs.

The Questionnaires module enables editing and sending various types of email messages by the system, depending on the stage of questionnaire processing:

  • Mail: to author - This section enables editing content of the message delivered to the person that enters a questionnaire, after it was sent.
  • Mail: to moderator - This section enables editing the message delivered to moderators / reviewers of questionnaires, informing that there is new questionnaire for moderation, in the system. Moderators can be added in the Questionnaires > Moderators section.
  • Mail: acceptance - It is an email message sent to the author of a questionnaire, informing that they have been accepted. It is delivered automatically, if the application administrator has accepted the questionnaire.
  • Mail: rejection - It is an email message sent to the author of a questionnaire, informing that they have been rejected. It is delivered automatically, if the application administrator has rejected the questionnaire.

The Moderators section enables creating accounts for moderators or reviewers, and assigning to them access rights to questionnaires, according to each individual category. Thanks to assigning a person to a category, selected moderators can review questionnaires that comply with certain criteria resulting, for example, from their specialisations. This option is particularly useful, when organising scientific conferences, as you can use the Questionnaires module to receive scientific papers assigned to various topics. Using categorisation facilitates the work of reviewers, who will be able to review papers dedicated to topics they are familiar with, while the administrator will have an easier task, when managing the incoming entries.

The Categories section enables creating thematic categories to which authors of questionnaires can assign their entries. Dividing questionnaires into categories enables dividing reviewers or moderators into groups, corresponding to the previously created categories (e.g. experts in a particular field). This option is particularly useful, when organising scientific conferences, as you can use the Questionnaires module to receive scientific papers assigned to various topics. Using categorisation facilitates the work of reviewers, who will be able to review papers dedicated to topics they are familiar with, while the administrator will have an easier task, when managing the incoming entries..
