You will see me at events like the ones you’ll meet Julia at. We work together, after all.
I pay particular attention to getting my paycheck on time and not standing on my feet for too long. By the way, they should give us chairs… would anyone even mind us sitting?
I expect that nobody’s bothering me. What, the phone? Yeah, there’s nobody here so what else am I supposed to do?
I’m annoyed by that guy over there. Where’s this, where’s that? They have maps on their badges. I don’t know, maybe he’s just looking for an excuse to chat me up?
What I like most is when guests leave me alone so I can enjoy my coffee.
Thank you for your time and insight, Lucy. Not much of a talker, is she? What can I say? I don’t think any organizer or attendee would want such service at the event. Unfortunately, you do meet such people and I don’t know if there’s any good solution. Controlling them requires additional resources and it won’t motivate Lucy to do anything more than the absolute minimum. I’m wondering about chairs, though. On one hand, the posture of a properly standing person has something attractive to it and shows respect to the attendee. On the other hand, I think that if you sit up straight and high, the posture is fine. In addition, hostesses will focus more on their work and not on their sore legs. What do you think?
Look forward to another event goer soon!
