Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Subscription and an Implementation?

From a software perspective, there is no difference; it is the same version of CONREGO. The main differences between a Subscription and an Implementation are:

  • With a Subscription, you configure the system yourself, while an Implementation is carried out by our team.
  • A Subscription is time-limited (3, 6, or 12 months, with the possibility of renewal), while an Implementation is a project for a single event or a cycle with a defined start and end.
  • Data processing for Subscriptions is based on the Terms of Service, whereas for Implementations, we can sign a Data Processing Agreement.
  • For Implementations, we can customize selected system modules upon request to function differently than the standard version.
  • For Implementations, we can assist you with on-site event support upon request.

Is the CONREGO subscription fee charged monthly?

No. Payments are made upfront for the selected subscription period. The monthly amounts are provided only as a reference point for savings when purchasing longer subscriptions.

How can I pay for a CONREGO subscription?

We currently offer one-time payments via bank transfer or recurring payments via credit card (through Stripe).

What happens if I don't renew my subscription after the subscription period ends?

The subscription will expire and be locked, and after 90 days, it will be permanently deleted from CONREGO's servers.

Can a paid subscription be frozen?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Existing subscriptions generate infrastructure maintenance costs, which we would otherwise have to pass on to clients.

If I buy a quarterly CONREGO subscription for an annual event and the subscription expires, will I need to configure everything from scratch next year?

Unfortunately, yes. That’s why, even if you use CONREGO once a year, consider an annual subscription, which is 20% cheaper. Your decision should depend on whether the cost of your work and the convenience of year-round access to data is worth more than 831 EUR (the price difference between an annual and a quarterly subscription).

Is the registration system cost dependent on the number of participants?

We do not charge a fee based on participant registrations. The number of registered guests does not affect our costs unless the limit of 10,000 records is exceeded. If you plan to register more participants, please contact us.

What is CONREGO's fee for ticket sales?

We do not charge a fee for ticket sales because we do not act as an intermediary. By using CONREGO, you are the sole seller of tickets offered to participants, revenues go directly to your bank accounts, and invoices will include your organization’s details.

Can I use CONREGO's payment gateway to accept electronic payments?

CONREGO does not act as an intermediary in ticket sales and does not provide its own payment gateways on platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, or PayU. To accept electronic payments, you need to have an agreement with a payment service provider who will handle transactions for your event.

Why does a single subscription have a 10,000 participant limit?

The limit is due to certain constraints within our infrastructure components. For instance, our SMTP server has a daily limit of 10,000 emails. Exceeding this limit will prevent additional emails from being sent.

Why is technical support limited to 3 hours per month for subscriptions?

Based on data collected since 2017, we estimated that the average time spent supporting a CONREGO subscription client per month is 2 hours. We factored this into our pricing to ensure that support costs do not exceed revenues.

Why do you charge a fee for connecting a custom domain to a CONREGO subscription?

Despite partial automation, this process involves several steps that take over an hour to complete. Some steps are performed by us, while others are carried out by the client. We did not include this service in the subscription price because many of our clients use *.conrego.app subdomains.

Why do you charge a fee for data recovery from a backup?

Unfortunately, this procedure cannot be automated because automation would compromise our security measures. Data restoration requires manual work by a server administrator, who must perform several time-consuming steps to provide data from a specific subscription and date.

Do unused technical support hours roll over to the next month?

Unfortunately, unused technical support hours do not roll over to the next month. However, we always strive to be flexible and helpful whenever possible.
