General questions

CONREGO is intended for the organizers of conferences, congresses, training courses, trade shows and other events that call for registering and handling attendees.

The system is used by companies, event agencies, associations, universities and public institutions, among others. You can use it for a single event as well as for a series run according to a shared registration process.

You have two options. You can prepare the system yourself on a subscription, using the Guide, the Knowledge base and support from the CONREGO team.

If you would rather not deal with the configuration, you can order the system implementation service. In that case our team prepares the agreed parts of the process from the materials you provide.

No. Most settings can be configured yourself in the administration panel, without programming.

As you work you can use the Guide available in the system and the detailed instructions in our Knowledge base. If you need it, you can also get in touch with the CONREGO support team.

Begin by watching the video Basic event configuration.

Then use the Guide available in the administration panel. It will take you through the key stages of preparing the form, the event website and the remaining parts of registration. Detailed instructions can also be found in the Knowledge base.

Yes. By default the website runs at an address of your choice in the CONREGO domain, event.conrego.app for example.

You can also order the connection of your own subdomain, such as registration.yourdomain.com. The order is placed in the CONREGO Customer Panel.

Once it is accepted, we pass on the CNAME records to be added in the DNS settings of the domain. The configuration requires a subdomain containing a prefix, such as "www", "event" or "registration".

No. Updates are made available automatically in every active subscription.

They cover new features, fixes to how the system works and security updates, among other things. You do not have to install new versions or move data yourself.

Send us a description of what you need and of the process you want to handle. We will check whether it can be delivered with the features available or with a different system configuration.

If it calls for a new solution, we will assess whether it can be added to the development plan or prepared as a change quoted individually. Not every suggestion can be implemented, because we develop CONREGO with the coherence of the system and the needs of a wider group of administrators in mind.

CONREGO subscriptions

A subscription is a separate CONREGO environment with its own database, file storage and website address, event.conrego.app for example, or a subdomain of your choice belonging to your organization.

Within a subscription you can use every CONREGO feature for the period you choose and pay for: 3, 6 or 12 months.

Log in to the CONREGO Customer Panel and use the "Order" button next to the subscription concerned.

Then choose the "CONREGO subscription" service, the period of the renewal and the payment method. Once the payment is made, the subscription is renewed for the period you chose.

No. A subscription is not renewed or charged automatically without your decision.

Before it ends you can order the next period yourself in the CONREGO Customer Panel, choosing a subscription of 3, 6 or 12 months.

No. The 3, 6 and 12-month subscriptions all give access to the same system features, the same limits and the same standard support from the CONREGO team.

They differ in the period they cover and in the price per month. You will find the details on the CONREGO pricing page.

No. Within a CONREGO subscription we do not charge an additional fee for each submission or a commission on ticket sales.

Further costs may arise from the terms of the online payment provider you choose.

Yes. On a free trial account you can use every CONREGO feature for 14 days and prepare your own system configuration.

A trial account allows a maximum of 25 test attendees to be registered or imported. It cannot, however, be used to run real registration or to handle a real event.

Set up a free trial account

Yes. Log in to the CONREGO Customer Panel and use the "Delete subscription" button next to the item concerned.

Yes. Log in to the CONREGO Customer Panel and use the "Clone subscription" button.

This lets you create another subscription from a configuration prepared earlier, without starting the work from scratch.

Security and the processing of personal data

Yes. CONREGO provides features and safeguards that support the organizer in processing attendee data in line with the GDPR. Entrusting data to CONREGO happens on the terms described in the Terms of Service.

The organizer is responsible for establishing the purposes and legal bases for processing, the scope of the data collected, the wording of the information notice and the correct configuration of forms and permissions, among other things.

You will find more information in the guide An Event Manager's Guide to GDPR Compliance.

Yes. In the registration form you can also collect special categories of data, health data for example, if they are necessary for running the event and you have the appropriate legal basis for processing them.

Access to the data can be limited to people holding the appropriate permissions in the administration panel, and the connection to the system is encrypted using the SSL/TLS protocol.

The organizer is responsible for the justification for collecting such data, the scope of the permissions granted and the security of the login details of administrator accounts.

No. When buying a CONREGO subscription we do not sign a separate agreement on entrusting the processing of personal data.

The rules on entrusting data are part of the Terms of Service, which apply while the subscription is used. The terms set out the rights and obligations of CONREGO and of the client in connection with processing personal data.

Create a separate administrator account for each person working in the panel and grant them only the permissions needed to carry out the tasks assigned to them.

This lets you limit access to selected features and data and makes it easier to keep track of who can view or modify them. A shared account should not be used, and login details should not be passed on to other people.

CONREGO runs in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. Every subscription has its own database and separate storage for the files connected with registration and running the event.

The detailed rules on processing and storing data are described in the Terms of Service.

Event management

Yes. Within one subscription you can run registration for several events, provided they use a shared configuration and a similar process for handling attendees.

Individual events can be told apart by ticket types, dates or the options chosen in the form, among other things.

You will find more information in the article Handling several events in parallel on a single CONREGO subscription.

A separate subscription will be more convenient if the events call for independent websites, registration forms, offers, communication or administrative settings.

It also makes it easier to separate the attendee data, the reports, the files and the access of the administrators assigned to individual events.

Yes. Using the Ticket Types feature you can prepare different variants of the form and of the registration process.

Depending on the ticket type selected, you can show or hide particular fields, sections and registration stages. More advanced rules, depending on the values entered in the form, can be prepared using custom JavaScript.

Yes. One person can submit a group of attendees and provide the details of each of them within a single registration process.

Depending on the configuration prepared, you can also apply prices or discounts that depend on the number of people submitted in the group.

Yes. The configuration you have can be used as a starting point for preparing the next edition of the event.

In the CONREGO Customer Panel you can clone an existing subscription and then update the dates, the content, the forms, the prices and the communication, among other things. That way you do not have to start the configuration from scratch.

Yes. You can set a maximum number of places for selected ticket types, workshops and other items available during registration, among other things.

Once the limit set is reached, the system can block any further selection of that option. If a submission is cancelled, the place released can become available again.

Yes. The registration process can be configured so that submissions require verification by an administrator.

Once the data has been checked, the administrator can accept or reject the submission, and the attendee can receive a message matching the decision taken.
