#eventgoer: The Star

Hey there, guys! My name is Tommy P. Charming. I’m an event goer. I don’t think I need to introduce myself, right? Who wants a photo by the media wall?

#eventgoer: The Star

You will see me at events like galas, premieres, and other showbiz events. Pretty much anywhere worth being seen at.

I pay particular attention to the status and buzz around the event. I don’t want to waste time at events nobody ever heard about. Even worse if the event brand is poor - I can’t risk my reputation because it’s all I have.

I expect a red carpet and flashing cameras. And proper reception. I don’t want to stand in lines or inconveniences because I didn’t take my invitation with me. I was invited and I came - simple as that.

I’m annoyed, when the staff are not attentive enough. I won’t beg for food and drinks. On the other hand, over-attentive staff are even worse. Haha, good luck satisfying a guy like me!

What I like most is being in the center of attention. I’ll appreciate you placing my bio on the event website - linked to my profiles of course. You got to build them reaches. It won’t hurt if you give me a shoutout at the event itself, either. I simply like feeling appreciated.

Thank you for your time and insight, Tommy. Phew, what a demanding attendee. He can bring a lot of value to any event, such as his social media channels (and as he mentioned, he takes good care of them) and increase the buzz and profile. But you need to handle him with extreme care. There’s nothing more dangerous than an infuriated influencer. OK, there are more dangerous things, like an attack helicopter, but you get the point. If Tommy says unfavorable things about your event, you will lose most of the attendees he got you. You shouldn’t give him everything he wants but you have to fulfill his needs.
Look forward to another event goer soon!
